About the event

On June 11, 2023 the Angela Marotta Inho Foundation will hold its first annual Ang's Warrior Walk for Lung Cancer Awareness at Bushnell Park in Hartford, CT. There will be an event kickoff starting at the Pump House with words from Angela's family and the foundation. This will be followed by a few laps around Bushnell Park and the event will end with some great raffle prizes you won't want to miss.

All proceeds from the walk and the foundation will go directly to lung oncologist, Mark Awad's Dana-Farber Cancer Institute research fund. Dr. Awad, who took care of Angela Marotta Inho during her 3-year battle, will use the funds raised to study the genetics and immune environment of lung tumors to develop better immune therapies for cancer patients.

~Parking is available around Bushnell Park and in surrounding parking lots.

~There will be the ability to register on the day of the event. Walk-ups will be required to pay by cash, check or venmo.

~Children 10 and under do not need to pay a registration fee.
