Daphne Haas-Kogan, MD

Dr. Haas-Kogan received her medical degree from the University of California at San Francisco (UCSF) in 1991. She completed a research fellowship, followed by residency in radiation oncology at the UCSF Helen Diller Family Comprehensive Cancer Center (HDFCCC). She spent 18 years as a radiation oncologist, researcher and academic leader in the UCSF HDFCCC system before becoming Chair of the Department of Radiation Oncology at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, Brigham and Women’s Hospital, and Boston Children’s Hospital in 2015.

Mark Awad, MD, PhD

Dr. Mark Awad is a Clinical Director of the Lowe Center for Thoracic Oncology at the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute. He received his undergraduate degree from Harvard University and his MD and PhD degrees from the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine. He completed his medical oncology fellowship at the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute before joining the faculty in 2014. His translational research focus is on identifying biomarkers of response and resistance to targeted therapies and immunotherapies in lung cancer.
